lq say we hardly post, so i post lor. haha.
anyway, finally i'm doing something i've learnt in dmc: writing for the web. except now it's about 100 times bigger, it's an entire website as opposed to those nonsensical webpages we do in kenneth's class (sorry kenneth).
what's more, the company whose website we're designing is an Internet Security company. how?!? it's too cheem for my simple mind...
i shall not complain here lest someone in my company is reading this. =S
about gradball, sy has suggested we book a hotel room that we can adjourn to in the wee hours. Suggestions include Royal Peacock Hotel in Keong Saik Rd (that's Chinatown) and my own idea: Hotel 1929, also in the same street.
Royak Peacock is cheap, about 130 for a night. Hotel 1929 is not, average 200 for the biggest room but 1929 is a very very nice place! haha, however, i think we would already be spending much for gradball, so i think Royal Peacock better.
on the other hand, shisi says we can just hang around, eat supper (or call it an early early breakfast if you must), then head home.
one gripe i have: wednesday night is a bit weird for a grad ball. why not make it a friday? wednesday is like neither here nor there; plus, i might have another internship after this so if i need to work, i'll be too tired after the grad ball right? the internship is to take up my time before i apply for uni, don't feel like going back to Gelare even though m ex-colleagues were very nice. :)
anyways, tell me what you guys think (about the hotel room, not my internship).
some post scripts:
liqin, on ur most recent post: sounds interesting! looks like you're getting busy... :)
yh: i don't even smell any inch of you on this blog! if i haven't been meeting you for lunch, i would think you've disappeared off earth! don't you guys agree?
