morning is opening IE (my office only has IE) and key-in www.cutsix.blogspot.com and see so many new entries. that alone bring a smile to me and cheers up my morning. lq, glad you found your way back. but please, PLEASE PLEASE don't make your font so small, ok? it's very VERY hard to read!!! it irritates the hell out of my eyes, having to squint to read your post. i think we've told you before.
wow, lq, you get to go to the SPH orientation. so nice, able to gain knowledge. so your hair's short now? got picture? post le! noticed i asked for picture (singular form.) :D
my task this week is to brainstorm (like what's new?!) and do up creatives for a client. sighs! the client is so "dry". you all get what i mean? i wana handle some FMCGs!! but the FMCG client we handle is not very hip and hapenning. it's only this and this. for the former, we're handling their cordial drink- s*nqu!ck. and guess who's handling the acct? hmfff the now-hateful t!! pw will know who t is. but anyway, these two FMCGs not very happening ah. i wished the company has clients like p&G or heineken. the heineken malaysia account was taken away by another competing agency. read in papers today. surprisingly, i cannot locate the agency's website.
2 months down, 1 more to go. so we shall all hold on and bite our lips till they bleed and wait for our release date. i feel that i am like a prisoner, waiting for the day i see daylight again.
so you all are geared for the digital film fest thingie? if so, i will have to email ping and tell her. hands up, those who're in it. i will only ask this ONCE and after this weekend, applications are closed! i am SERIOUS.
and jess, while people do get bored of stationary print ads, they must consider their budgets. whilst working in media, i realized as long as the client can be "kiam" (hokkien for stingy), they WILL! every thousand counts! not talking about cents here because in advertising, thousands are the one that matters. even cut short budget by 5k, they also happy. my colleague, the media planner had to re-revised the plan she worked out for a particular client. super troublesome man! and oh, i am not going to grad ball already as there seems to be ZERO attendance for our class.
anyway, all; let's just hang on to the rope for a month before it cuts! :P fy, i knew you'd say
"sometimes i do get angry with u all for being not serious enough when doing work, and for all the lateness. especially the lateness. but the displeasure won't be there for long, and i dun feel like blowing the matter up or anything.."
i know you don't like to blow up matter but it's important that others around you know what's on your mind so as to stop guessing...? because it's very tired and mind-taxing to guess what's on people's mind and i don't wish to add to our very stressful lives. i don't know la, this is what i feel. but i know your style is like you don't wish to say it out since it's already over. but don't you realize that incidents do repeat and haven't you heard that history repeats itself? plus, it's unfair to the other parties if they're not notified of their mistake or overlooking of certain details. i don't know, this is purely my view. to be honest, i get tired and frusfrated sometimes, when i try to guess what you're going through. many times, i give up guessing but when i sense something wrong, i'll try guessing again. i don't really like the guessing game, know. example, riddle games. once or twice, it may be fun but when it gets over 3 times, people DO get sian and don't bother anymore. i think i've said 'nuff.
miss cut6! not the cut6 in Learning Place! pw, you're so mean! hmmffff!! but i do miss the times we edit videos there. correction: i miss the times jess edit video and we gave her moral support. right, jess? ;)
