anyway, if you have read my blog, then you would have known that my client says he doesn't like what i've wrote. well, anyway he called me a day after to email me more work and to explain what he wanted.
i admit i was a bit shocked at first, i mean, his comments were pretty blatant and honest. but, haha, perhaps he reads my blog so he decided to explain clearly what he wanted. good for me.
well like i was telling radiah, i really regret saying to my colleagues i have nothing to do! now they give me work and more work... haha. OT is my best friend now. sigh.
oh. don't know whether this is good news or not, because when i received the news i wasn't particularly excited.
i got accepted into Edith Cowan Uni (in perth), and conditional acceptance in Uni of Melbourne (in melbourne, duh). so many things to do: visa, health cover, flight details, accommodation... i guess i wasn't really prepared to get accepted. i think i'm still quite fickle over this. i don't know if it's worth the money to go all the way to Australia just to get a degree, it is afterall about 3 times the cost of a local comm studies degree.
oh, conditional acceptance means they want to see my final results first before accepting me.
sigh.
actually i would prefer going to a local uni... but ntu's strength is not comm studies, and smu doesn't have such a programme.
all these talk about further education is started to make me lose my hair. think i shall stop obssessing.
oh oh! about prom night.
ok my take: i am actually very interested, just that the theme is a bit impractical. i'm of the opinion that grad balls should just be "formal wear" or in true singaporean style: "smart casual". anyway it's just people sitting there eating right... i used to think that grad balls should be free leh, or cheap at best. 70 dollars is making me think twice, no thrice, about going.
so have you all arrived at your decision? please comment on my post. we'll see what we can do k?
