yoooo so sorry for not updating! i never 'cut' from u guys la... haha just tt there's not much abt me to update *_*

was a quite a rush period recently but for now, my work's done so i'm being a lot less productive (and updating journals at work) today haha. however i dont really see any light ahead sigh...

anyways i havent really decided what shd i do for now, to stay? to go? no idea... i love what i do but it pretty much ends there. i dont like what happens to the things i produce... amongst many other things. It's quite heartbreaking. a lot of people advising me to do different things. haha got quite a bit of things to kaobeh but i think i better not type here!

that day when liqin sent out random sms-es her timing couldnt have been better... i was on my way home from the hospital after visiting my mom haha. In the same week did the job problems surface and i got into a fight with a rather close friend and my hard disc crashed with all my portfolio and data inside etc etc. so i'm very very thankful ^^

by now, my mom's back le and plenty of things are more of less settled... and i've got a much clearer mind. So yeah! hahaa somehow things that were lost found their way back into my hands after that. Sadly my hard disk isnt recovering on its own though *look of horror* but nothing urgent bah... shall go for data recovery someday

heh i think i wont be available for much outings anytime soon! so post more info here yea Y u Y

Sorry for the lack of updates. I needed to pack my emotions one side and start looking forward. I was lunching with cellmate today and I was very surprised at the words she said. They're very supportive and encouraging to know that I still have some people who are supportive of me despite my downs. Really.

Mistakes are inevitable as we're human. I'm not saying making mistakes are alright but what needs to be said here is that learn from the mistake and move on. No point dwelling and sitting there thinking about it. Of course, there are some people out there ahem ahem who loves their employees to sit and dwell and wallow about their mistakes. It's time to wake up.

If you feel that you're unable to cope, just let the authorities know. They won't mark you down because if you're unable to perform at the end of the day, it comes back to you. Why didn't you voice out your concern? Why did you cleverly take the rap for everything? Now, if something happens, it's going to be YOU again. You should have voiced out your concern earlier. Let the bigger ones up there worry since they take a bigger portion of income home. You're just but a junior in your company.

And to answer your question, no. I haven't gotten anything. Naught. cellmate said it will come to me soon. Her instincts told me that. How sweet to hear that. Really. I trust your instincts, for once. :P I certainly hope so.

I did some stupid things like using office phone to call my handphone to see if it works. It worked! But no phone calls from the person I want to call. When are you going to call me? *Heaves a heavy and loud sigh*

am feeling quite ecstatic about this :P

he came for cf last thur and i managed to sit beside him!!
made some small talk while eating our lunch...
haha... feeling veri happy... ^_^

to add to that happiness, i saw him again on fri during lunch time!
haha... saw him 2 days in a row....
that's enough to make me happy for the next 2 weeks :P

anyways.... this period of time is really bad for me... been working late for the past month and i'm really feeling very tired and drained by work....

to add to that, 2 months into the job my colleague had decided to leave as she finds it too stressful... so that leaves me to juggle 2 people's job (again) before they get another new staff. AND to add to that, i've got a new superior which heads our unit. i think she needs a secretary but we haven't got one for her yet. so i guess i have to juggle 3 people's job for the time being.... :(

i can't believe it, but i cried in office last week...

was working past 6pm (as usual) and the surroundings were quiet as most people had left for the day. i made some mistakes during the day and was not feeling too good about it. the stress creeps into my heart and i was feeling pretty down. just at that moment my colleague called me.

earlier in the day i was working on some video stuff and had some difficulties which i couldn't solve. i had approached this colleague for help and he actually stayed back on that day to help me find information to solve my problem. i felt so touched and also probably being overwhelmed by work, tears just started to fall uncontrollably...

anyhow, i'm glad that i have colleagues like this whom i feel like we're frens and not just strictly acquaintances at work. felt very much comforted and things also seem brighter :)
i will hang on until the rainbow appears after the rain ^_^

how about the rest? pw and sy found job yet? when is pw flying back for graduation?
i think jess is really 'cut' off from us already... never hear from her for such a long time...

when is our next gathering? oct to celebrate the 3 oct babies' birthdays? :P what say the rest? hear from all of u soon yeah.... ^_^

p/s: amidst all the 'blue-ness' and 'down-ness' and work, seeing him makes me feel really happy! haha... at least for that moment :P hee and i really like the way when he talks to people his attention is just focussed on that person. (u know some people when they talk to you their eyes just float around and are easily distracted by things happening behind u or beside u? :P)

was reading through our past entries... quite amusing :p

realised we've been through quite a lot together.. i really do cherish this cutsix bond and i wish we could have each other for many more years in the future :)

Think for cutsix to take a holiday, might have to wait till retirement and that is if we start planning now because we're likely to plan for the next 10 years, haha... Nevertheless, I enjoyed Sydney tremendously, just nice stocktake sale was on in Australia so I got to shop a bit, but of course I did some touristy things as well, such as paying $18 just to take the lift up Sydney's tallest building to soak in a 360 degree view of the city skyline. What to do, too much $$, not safe carrying it around.

apologies that i couldn't turn up that day cos was sick la.

juz to summarize that i have been doing fine, but now well recently. quite alot of things happened in my life, the not-so-good stuffs. but life still goes on. cos, i have learnt not to brood over what happened yesterday, but to look forward to tomorrow.

one major happening in my life is that i tendered my resignation. so now, i will be taking a break from work. yea and perhaps take a break from everything, cos i kinda feel very tired to continue doing anything. even things that i used to enjoy, it has became a torture for me..

actually i do not want to bring such a gloomy mood to the blog, so i did not post anything. but then, i am getting okay now. so............. til we meet again.

wah sorry to fang fei ji...... I have a feeling that it might be harder to meet on weekdays than i expect so hopefully we can meet on weekend next round? haha

currently the magazine i working under is out liao.. up to the second issue lol... still working on getting it up to standard with the understaffed team. it's kinda weird cause the comic for publication was initially meant for web publication and we didnt bother with details. Also, a big group was working on it and although i was supposedly the main artist (though working freelance), my style was not present due to many artists having a hand in it. I was not able to do anything to change the first issue's work, but now tt we're working on it full-time, i went to propose a complete uphurl and am now facing several more chapters of comic to draw, this time on my own to save costs and most importantly have style and standard consistancy.. Am kinda frustrated that time doesnt allow me to change everything i want to though. Plenty of pages still the old pages for webcomics and looks so UGLY!!!! ah well! gotta move on and see where it goes anyway

well, still the same for me.. nothing much happening recently... will be quite busy with work soon i think, coz there's an event coming up and the new staff won't come until the end of june.. so got to hang in there and maybe work ot for the coming weeks....

so yh, had 庆功宴 with your team after the final night of your play? ^_^

though i din comment much that night, i did enjoy the play. and i understood what the whole thing was about. (maybe except the part about the red guards in the background :p)

actually i quite like this kind of drama play. during my sec sch & jc days i have always been to watch various school's 中文学会's performance, and also went to a couple of dramas by 戏剧盒 in the past. the last performance i watched was 黄城夜韵 by HCJC 3 years ago :p

your play was quite good, simple and easy to understand. the actors and actresses are very clear in their speech and emotions (hee of course rite, they are from theatre studies :p) overall quite enjoyable. at certain parts can somehow feel their emotions too. especially since it's based on a true story and with a historical background, the 真实感 is there :)

hee, but had expected it to be an 'english' and 'ang moh-ish' kind of play, quite surprised it turned out so 'chee-nah'.. haha.. ^_^ thot this story would be more suitable for 中文学会 rather than english studies students :p but anyhow, it was a job well-done!

phew.. it has been a busy week for me... been working late for the past few nights... leaving office around 8pm-9pm plus... have never worked so hard in my life... hahaha.... well, i certainly hope they can find replacements soon, for my 2 colleagues who have left this month. now i am one person doing the work of two!

that day i was in office, suddenly realised that the view is not bad :p actually night view is better (have been 'enjoying' it for the past few nights :p) , but i cant take pics at night coz of the glass window's reflection ...

Soup Spoon....

there was a murder that happened in the kitchen of Soup Spoon, Raffles City last night 10th March.

Actually i din wanna blog about this... But it's juz too _______. I couldn't find the exact word to describe that feeling i have (so it's left blank). Group mates and me were supposed to go there for our project today, and also to review Soup Spoon's menu etc since we are doing research on them. Then this incident happened.

It's scary. Oh man.

Murder in the kitchen...
'N there were customers dining outside.
Imagine, u were drinking tomato soup, and halfway through, the staffs asked u to leave.
The next day, u read on the news that there was a murder.
U recalled at that time, you were drinking tomato soup...
WTH!

how have all of you been? everybody is lying low during this period of time hor... what happened? busy busy busy(as usual)? at least managed to catch up with lq during reconnect, but only heard minimal from sy(comments on our blog), talked a bit to pw on msn..

and yh & jess like vanish into thin air leh... (oh, but yh called me just now, asked me where is peace centre, at least i know she's still up and about) but how come i like street directory har? lq also called me to ask for directions last time..... -_-''

well, this week has been quite eventful for me, starting on the new job. hmm.. in corporate communications department, doing admin stuff for the senior officers. but it's good exposure though. so far am enjoying it and still got lots to learn... they are hiring another communications assistant leh, sy u wan to come and try? but depends on whether u wan to do corp comms or not, they doing investment, not advertising..

haha... lq u very good leh, report the reconnect like professional journalist like that... tell the story and link up with the pictures at the same time... very creative and interesting :p wenqi said she read the entry and regretted not going for reconnect... and u know what, she's free leh, but coz f4 not going and she dunno who will be going, so she din go! haiyo, such a pity... she say next time we go back must "jio" her okay? she also miss all the lecturers....

did u all feel the tremors last tues? quite serious leh.. even my mum at home felt it... woah my office on 49th floor, if the building collaspe sure no escape.... hmm, i think this is the "hot" topic in sg these few days... earthquake and the tremors...

hee, i passed my final theory for driving, now is practical lessons on the road. difficult leh, cant really control the clutch well and my engine always die :p but at least still got half a year to learn coz my test date is in august ^_^

Fy and me were at the Re-Connect. It was quite an interesting event and turns out better and more successful than the previous ones.
But meanest was pissed and she feels like killing ppl with her fork, coz like one of the lecturers said, "Only 2 of you turned up? Got cut ah?"
Ya, the other cut 3 fly our aeroplane! :(

But on second thought, I decided not.

The lecturers on stage... The rest of the lecturers were really happy that we turned up. Rajan wrote a "poem" that was super touching. Awwwwwwwwww... Mr Ang told a long story with no morale of the story. Qouted from Ms Phyllis Peter,"If the going gets tough, the tough takes a break! and... should visit the lecturers at SP..." =_=!

Anyway, at the end of the event, fy was ok already and was even grinning from ear to ear.. And smiling to herself. Guess why? cos....

haha.. such a coincidence, i was just about to post when i saw peiwen's post :p i see.. you are very bored har.. hey last night i dreamt of you leh, you told us that you got a boyfriend over there already!! :p

hee.. nothing much for me currently, went for two interviews last week, at here and here for marketing executive and communications assistant respectively, but no news from them yet. at the same time i was thinking whether to go back to FES, the organisation of the CF i was involved in during my SP days. they need somebody to do communications-related stuff, such as website, publications, resources etc.

i am still in the process of waiting and decision-making...

meanwhile, i am lazing at home loh.. :p clean up my room, do some jigsaw puzzle, watch vcds, figuring out some website stuff for my church, learn driving, learn guitar.. haha, most of the time zo-bo at home :p

from what i know, lq still on current job and thinking of whether to change her job or not, but she got her part-time studies to take care of, which limits her to work OT should a new job requires her to do so. but then, in her current company she can't change department because of some agreement/clause with her recruitment agency.. i guess she must be having a hard time deciding.. to change or not to change...

as for jess, she's always late for work lor, going into office after lunch!! good for her that she has an understanding boss that knows her "pattern" and will tolerate her lateness as long as she gets work done :p but recently she managed to reach office at around 10 plus.. so a big round of applause for her :) jess, keep it up!!

SINGAPORE : Tiger Airways will launch flights between Singapore and the Australian city of Perth beginning in March, the budget carrier said Friday.

Singapore-based Tiger is the first Asian budget carrier to link Asia with the Western Australia city, the airline's chief executive, Tony Davis, said in a news release.

Perth becomes Tiger's second Australian destination after Darwin.

The airline said it will fly to Perth four times a week beginning March 23, with plans for daily service beginning in November.

Tiger Airways flies from Singapore to destinations throughout Southeast Asia and to China.

The carrier launched its first flight in 2004.

It is owned by four shareholders, including Singapore Airlines which has a 49 percent stake and state-linked Singapore investment firm Temasek Holdings with 11 percent. - AFP/ch
