i realised it has been a long time since i came online.
i realised that my blog has been deleted by myself.
i realised that before i can understand what actually happened, it actually happened.
if u dunno what i am talking, it is never meant to be known.

-sigh- so many things happened over the past year.
Thinking back, year 2005 was a time of joy and sorrows.
More sorrows i would say.
it started with the death of a close friend and ended with the death of my great grandma.
How ironic, my friend passed away at the age of 19 and my great grandma passed away at a good old 103. One had not yet experienced the real life, while the other has already experienced the taste of life.

Life is short. It made me realise that life is indeed short:(

And thus, do Cherish me ok? haha...

i mean, i cherish the friendship with u guys :)

back liao!!!

yoZ!! i'm back! A bit jet lagged currently... haha. One thing i learnt is that Singapore is close to a shopping heaven (compared to UK). And the food.... not that i miss the food here very much, but i sure miss the prices! (can you imagine 5 pounds for a simple mac meal??? thats about 15 sing dollars)... Am so happy that finally i'm in a land where people will probably understand what i'm uttering- the people in UK sometimes fail to comprehend what we're saying through our accent and well, the Spanish hardly speak English *screams*.

Taxi Driver: "*Spanish words that i do not understand*"
Classmate: "Airport, Terminal B"
Taxi Driver: "*Spanish words* B?"
Classmate: "Yeah B"
Taxi Driver: "A, B? B?"
Classmate: "Si" <--"yes" in Spanish, pronounced as "C"

jitao confused sia!

Something interesting, and maybe a bit nostalgic

My parents, interestingly and surprisingly enough, downloaded Google Earth on our family computer while I was away in the beautiful land of Perth. Here's something I found after about thirty minutes of playtime:

Have highlighted a couple of places for easier recognizability. Heh. We should visit this sometime before my uni vacation is up.

One last note: this post is proudly brought to you by Google Earth.

A letter to the cuts.

My dear cut-mates,

I haven't seen you guys for some time. With the exception of meanest because we've been having lunch very often and keep in touch all the time.

I had Subway lunch with her just now. Yes, meanest actually took proper lunch for once. Many other times, she just bring her own "Fortune Bag".

In any case, I was discussing with her on the place to go for our Christmas dinner. As we were strolling in Jasons (supermarket), we've decided to have our own potluck. My suggestion was to come to my place (at Yishun) for dinner. My grandma can cook for all of us. Of course, you all have to do your part by bringing somethings like chips, beer and meanest wanted a cake! :D

Isn't it nice? So, what do you all think? Do let me know. I suggest to have the dinner on 23rd this month, Friday. Reason being, my cousin will be (back) in Singapore on 14th and I want to celebrate with her since this is her first trip back since she migrated to Down Under.

I was thinking Satrday will be better but considering that it's Christmas Eve, some will celebrate with their boys. ;)

Let me know ASAP because we need to plan also mah!

Luv,
meanie
