how have all of you been?
i know yinghua is looking for a PR/Corp Comm job... do help her look out for any lobang!
how abt the rest? :P
for me, i'm still at the same job, quite happy there actually. coz my team has good bonding, though the department has lots of politics. for now, i have no intention of changing job, will stay put for quite a while i think...
looking forward to our gathering and pw's lecture :P

unexpected!
one night while working late in the office, loud booming noises were heard outside the windows. a colleague thought it was thunder, another thought it was an earthquake...
to our surprise we caught the fireworks for the official opening of Singapore Flyer!

unpredictability
i guess this is the first time i came face-to-face with DEATH.
had been to several wakes/funerals of friends' grandparents, parents, relatives... but this is the first time i went to a friend's wake.
a friend i hung out with, a friend i talked to, a friend i laughed with, a friend close to my heart...
just returned from the wake of a poly CF fren who passed away in a motorbike accident yesterday.
the feeling is... indescribable.
i'm not sure how to handle this. the emotions, the pain, the regrets...
ironically, two days ago, my colleages and i were just discussing the unpredictability of life. we were talking about how people tend to spend all their life engrossed in things they thought was essential or significant, but at the end of the day only to realise that they have missed the most important things that really matter...
and i commented that we should not focus excessively on external, materialistic things and neglect family/friends around us whom we care for or who care about us.
i would not have known that this statement turned out to be so true for me just one day after i said it.
be thankful for what we have, cherish the people around us. before it is too late.

Back to school
Cut 3 went for SP Open House today~
Of course all the lecturers have not changed much. What did you expect? :P Edmund DID NOT recognise us AT ALL, have to say I was a bit relieved about that. Luckily YH wasn't with us, else something embarrassing might have happened. We don't really want to see Edmund getting excited, right? ;)
Doris tried her hand at matchmaking... who else but FY and her No. 1 Luv. LOL. He's still the same too, still very much attached to his partner-in-crime. Jess, you better post yours pictures SOON!
This is a real shocker. TMD lor! All the times we climbed until heh heh chuan at T21 and now THEY HAVE A BLOODY LIFT!!! These young punks are really too pampered. What a misuse of taxpayers' dollars.
Our favourite place. Enough said.
ICE-CREAM VENDING MACHINE!!! Again, too pampered.
Haha, this is to SY. The super-fierce makcik who cleans the toilet is STILL THERE! Someone give her a wrong-ser - oops - long-service award! (Also, notice the revamped lobby in background)

I'm NUMBER ONE for 2008.
i keyed in the last post for year 2007 and here i am again, for year 2008. THE FIRST.
HAPPY NEW YEAR, cut6. I do realize that this blog is getting wayyyy too stangnant. Nobody seemed to care about it anymore. Everyone is on Facebook and no one cares to blog. How sad. :(
Every year, our number of posts are getting less as well. Year 2005, our first year, we hit a record high of 285 posts. Year 2006, a dip to 72 and last year, 2007, was only a miserable 58. I shall not set the target too high this year.
As a start, let's try to break last year's record of 58. Let's aim at 65. Shall we? That's only 7 more. Please, ppl.
Spare some time out for us.
