haiZ.. it was an eventful day today... Went out photoshooting for a client with no budget!
We were supposed to have a photoshoot involving a cat near to our office building this morning and me and the other intern had painstakenly went about borrowing stuff for the photoshoot over the weekend (remember the fishing rod?) haha... but Jethro had the task of getting a cat/dog which is brown for the shoot! He'd managed to get one of our clients to agree to lend her cat....
However, this morning, he called to say he couldn't bring the cat as it had mercilessly scratched him when he tried to bring it into the taxi! So another colleague and I took a taxi to the housing estate where the other intern is with the friggin stubborn cat. We couldn't start the photoshoot as we had to find a new venue for the shoot since we're brought so far away... And after almost an hour, the art head decided that he wanted to keep to the original venue and that we took a picture of the cat to be superimposed into the photo!
Getting the cat to stand in the position we wanted it to was a whole new issue... Animals. RAAAAGH! Firstly, the cat of the right colour we'd originally wanted (yes. the scratching one) simply would not agree to let its photo be taken, so we took another greyish cat instead... My colleague took up the tedious task of getting it into the position we needed and several photos were snapped.... By miracle, the client who agreed to lend us her cats found a man with another cat that suited our description! And another tedious phototaking session commerces...
working with animals is really horrifying
Went back to our office in the photographer's van for the next part of the photoshoot. It took the photographers something that felt like 2 hours to take a photo of a standing guy! There were too many factors... The sun made shadows difficult for digital imaging, the art head not satisfied, the art head not present, the talent pose is wrong, the wind blowing etcetc
We proceeded to phototaking for the next ad at ard 2 plus and HOLY!!! a car was blocking our intended venue(which is a drain)... moments were wasted how on wondering how to remove the car and soon we just found ourselves another venue... So we walked over and the photographers drove their van with the equipment over....
The photoshoot wasn't too bad this time, and lasted around half an hour to one hour... But when we went back to the photographer's van... tada!! a traffic police stood nearby and they had gotten a summon!!!
hahaha.... haiz.... i have a deflating sensation
*btw, i finally got myself to complete the very unflattering puzzle!!!
