ok. so how was Chinese New Year for you guys? i'm back at work, yes i know majority of cutsix are still visiting relatives today, and the downside is that you guys will just eat and eat and eat. hahahaha. fy, don't eat so much junk food!
cny wasn't very fun, somehow the visiting is becoming tedious and, contrary to popular belief, collecting red packets is not as exhilarating as adults would like to think. i mean, it's just $6.
(you guys want to visit my mom? she's giving at least $8 this year, i would know, i packed the ang pows -winks- but bedok a bit far hor.)
mum got pretty pissed off yesterday. i was telling my sister i am only concentrating on applying to overseas universities and applications to ntu and smu were simply to pacify my mother, if she wants me to apply then i apply lor, make her happy a bit lah. well she overheard all that. i wasn't keeping myself soft anyways.
think this (further education) problem is bound to come up sooner or later. mum says she doesn't have enough in cpf if i want to go overseas, but a four-bloody-year B Comm Studies isn't cheap here either! plus, i can't help but feel part of the blame goes to my sister, who has to repeat a semester due to indulging in too much CCAs and forwarding a lot of modules twice. hello, an entire semester sets you back by at least $6000. not fair to me right? i studied my ass off (ok not quite) in poly so why can't you do the same in university? and you persuaded my parents to upgrade you to a single room using some lame ass excuse like my roomate always stay up late at night (heard of compromising not?). why you cannot try being more considerate but i have to try being more accommodating?
walau, i'm always the suay one.
