i've been thinking (what? you think my head empty is it?), are we having the right attitudes here? see, what we do when we meet up is to complain or lament our lack of duties, and say how much we miss sp and our lecturers.
maybe we harbour too high expectations. obviously none of us have been an intern before, so we don't know how it would feel like. some even imagine ourselves to be fixing broken bulbs (that's shisi), photocopying copious amounts of double A paper and mindless receptionist work. well yes, some of these jobs do happen but what else can the company give you?
i can't expect myself to be thrown into the thick of the action -- discussing campaign details, negotiating with clients, doing up mind-blowing advertisements, etc. etc. on the company's part, they don't really have a specific idea of what you can or cannot do, so to play safe, they'll just give you simple stuff, then you graduate on to the more important jobs.
oh i don't know... but i can't help but think my job is boring! plus, the client is troublesome! why can't they deal us ALL the changes they want? they have to request one change, see that in action, then request a second change, then see that in action, and so on and so forth, how inconsiderate. it's like they think we're just sitting around with nothing to do waiting for their approval. hello? people have to do data entry here?!?!?
i think my company quite chapalang and nondescript. so below radar. so uneventful. so un-media like. so cold (literally). so boring. sigh.
