First day of work

hey hey everyone, how's first day of work? i started off quite well with lots of SMSes wishing me good luck since sun nite :)

but i was very nervous. very nervous.

nashrin called and we met to go up the company together. we reached at abt 830. but val reached abt 855, so we went up at 9 sharp.

i shall not say much abt the company here, coz i dun want my company to find out that i've been talking abt them in this blog (was it Ms Kwa who shared the story abt a girl being sacked for writing abt her company in her blog?) so we'll talk more when we meet on fri k? :p

in short, the ppl there are nice. but the whole atmosphere and culture is weird. i dunno, maybe the problem lies with me..

PW: yah..my company ppl also communicate thru email. i guess it saves the trouble of walking in and out of the room. one guy even stuck a note behind his chair: "Don't disturb. Just email me." Dunno if it's suppose to be a joke or not..

Jess: u got cool toilet, i got cool kitchen! yah, its a kitchen, not a pantry. lots of wine and glasses. super expensive (according to Val) hi-fi and TV set. shelves of books and video tapes. i think they even have a washing machine.

suddenly it occurred to me: this is a food and beverage industry! No wonder it has such a well-furnished and "classy" kitchen in its office..

After one day of work, this is my conclusion:

miss sch. miss classes. miss classmates. miss Cut Six..
