hey.. this friday how? if all want budget stuff then we go hawker centre? here are some food recommendations from my colleague:

Hock Lam Beef Noodle ($4-$6)
First Thai (about $5 average)
Chin Chin (chicken rice, and lots of other nice hainanese dishes ($4 -$8)
Liang Seah Street
Pivdoff (authentic fine french food in casual setting (set lunch $12.50, Set dinner $16)
Sim Lim Square FoodCourt
Best Korean food, also top rating is the fish slice beehoon
Suntec City
Happy Hut (downstairs where the gigantic fountain is (authentic HK dimsum at resonable prices....very delicious egg tarts too)
Bugis Junction
theres this jap restuarnt upstairs that has 50% off alacarte menu (very good deal) on wednesdays
Parklane
Isle Cafe (Western food)
Peace Centre (those little stalls inside selling bar chor mee laksa also not bad)
Toa Payoh Lorong 5
Seng Kee Fishball noodles (the best in Singapore!)
Bendeemer (Boon Keng MRT)
everything is good there
Pek Kio Market
Duck Rice, Chwee Kueh, Carrot cake
Golden Mile
Hainanese Chicken rice and Steamboat!
The Cheesecake Cafe
off east coast/siglap road..the cheesecake creations are magnificient and the interior decor is so comfy.even the toilet is pretty!
Blk 85, Bedok North
Chai Chee Pork Porridge, Bar Chor Mee, Western Food, Barbeque stingray are the favourites
Gayathrie Restuarant (race course road)
Indian fish head curry $10 on mondays and wednesdays!
p/s: maybe we can go sim lim square foodcourt?
